5 For Friday
So it’s the last Friday in February–thank god. And now we can focus on moving into March with even more steps forward toward April, the first true month of Spring weather. March is still a winter tundra in the Northeast sadly (I was just recalling how the last week in March last year I distinctly remember still wearing my down coat and it was snowing. . .). I’m facing the reality so to best accept the next four weeks ahead and then really, truly rejoice with April. In the mean time, I’ll be dreaming of the above surreal abode above so to keep me going through the next month. So serene it is! Serenity, serenity on this Friday. Enjoy the 5 Friday links below and have a great weekend ahead.
1) My A + S partner in crime sent me this handy blog post tutorial on how to create patterns in Photoshop. So great, thanks Jungalow for the tips of the trade!
3) There’s another new photography app out there that you should check out and play around with for only 99 cents: Afterlight. As soon as I can get a new phone and have more space to download the new iOS I intend to snag it.
4) After yesterday’s post about the dream catcher class, I started thinking about how important it is to keep learning, as an adult. So if you’re inclined to try new things and expand your skills and knowledge, do check out Brooklyn Brainery if you’re in the NYC area.
5) Found this restaurant that I’d love to cozy up in for dinner called The Smile (featuring Mediterranean plates).
